Where Children Play to Learn

A small, nurturing preschool community in Nolensville built on play, movement, and meaningful learning.

Our Philosophy

At Mill Creek Children’s Academy, we believe children learn best through active, hands-on experiences. Our HighScope-based curriculum encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence through guided play.

We focus on the whole child — supporting social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development.

HisghScope Approach 〰️

Our classrooms follow the HighScope Curriculum, a research-based, child-centered approach that emphasizes:

  • Active learning

  • Child choice

  • Intentional teacher support

  • Reflection and independence

Children plan activities, explore learning centers, and review their experiences — building both academic skills and lifelong confidence.

Located inside Summit Sports Center, our preschool provides children with opportunities to move daily.

Large motor development, teamwork, and confidence are essential at this age. Our students benefit from space and access that many preschools simply cannot offer.

Room to Move

With approximately 20 students and three experienced teachers, our classrooms remain personal and supportive.

Children are known, encouraged, and prepared for kindergarten in a warm and joyful environment.

Small School,
Big Impact

Hello! I am honored to be part of this wonderful community. My family and I are originally from Canada, but we have proudly called Nolensville home for the past 13 years. It has truly become home for us.

My husband and I have one son who is preparing for college — an exciting milestone for our family. He has always been active in sports, and we love spending our time cheering him on, enjoying local restaurants, traveling, and making memories with friends.

Professionally, I have had the privilege of working with children in a variety of settings. My experience includes working with kindergarten students, and spending the last six years pouring my heart into our preschool community. I am passionate about early childhood education and believe these early years are foundational for building confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue this journey and am excited for what this next chapter holds. I look forward to partnering with families and helping each child grow and thrive.
