Art

Children in our 3-Year-Old and Pre-K programs enjoy hands-on art experiences that encourage creativity, self-expression, and fine motor development. Through a variety of age-appropriate projects and materials, students explore colors, textures, shapes, and different artistic techniques while building confidence and having fun.

Physical Education

Physical education at Mill Creek Children’s Academy is led by coaches from LPG Sports Academy, who bring energy, encouragement, and fun to every session. Through age-appropriate games and activities, students develop important large motor skills such as balance, coordination, and body awareness.

PE also helps children build confidence as they try new movements, learn basic sports skills, and practice teamwork with their classmates. At this age, movement is an essential part of learning, and our PE program gives children the opportunity to stay active while developing healthy habits and social skills that will benefit them both in and out of the classroom.

Summit Sports Aftercare

Mill Creek Children’s Academy is located inside Summit Sports Center, which allows us to offer a unique aftercare experience for families who need extended care during the day. Aftercare is available until 2:00 PM for an additional monthly fee.

During aftercare, children enjoy lunch together followed by supervised play in the Summit Sports gym. This gives students additional opportunities for movement, exploration, and social interaction in a safe and structured environment.

The combination of active play and relaxed social time allows children to continue building friendships, practicing cooperation, and enjoying a positive end to their preschool day.

Music with Mr. Jake

Music is a favorite part of the week at Mill Creek! Led by Mr. Jake, students participate in interactive music experiences that encourage singing, movement, rhythm, and early literacy skills. His engaging approach helps children build confidence while making learning fun through music.

Mr. Jake is also the creator of "Alpha Bets You'll Learn Your Letters," an interactive alphabet program that helps children connect letters with their sounds through memorable songs and characters.
